Songs in code are songs, but written down like it’s code. Which can be any programming language. It’s like translating a foreign song to your own language. In this case the language is programming code.
It was started as a little bit of fun within the Frog VLE development team (http://www.frogtrade.com/) and escalated to a trending topic approximately 8 1/2 hours after the first tweet.
